Story :
Anita & Vanita are sisters. They were found in a wet market area with they skin scalding & covered in blood. Vet's best guess is they were beaten with a sharp object. At the point of rescue they were 2 months old. Immigrant workers said their mother was beaten to death but refused to give more information.

Personality :
Anita is reserved and shy. However, she will defend her owner when called upon. A brave quiet warrior. She is disciplined and is a sweet friendly child.

AGE: 4yrs | Female

Story :
Baby was abandoned by owner and underwent severe depression. She was surrendered to us for rehabilitation. At the point of surrender, she delivered babies who were taken away from her, and this further aggravated her condition. In time, with the therapy provided, Baby recovered to be a healthy cheerful soul.

Personality :
Baby gets startled easily due to her previous trauma. However, she is friendly though she is reserved.

Personality :
She is very shy. Once she knows you, however, she is super duper friendly.

Story :
Candy was found with spinal injury from being beaten. He almost died twice due to physical injury and later undetected internal complications. But he is tough fighter and is now fully recovered.

Personality :
Just like the fighter he is, this boy is brave and is always ready to make friends. He is also kind and understanding towards his fellow shelter mates. A kind sweet boy.

AGE: 8yrs | Female

Story :
She was almost put down for violence. A pure bred GSD (From Zander - 8th world champion bloodline), she killed everything in sight. A month after she moved in with us, she is now the resident kitten babysitter. A complete gem.

Personality :
She is super calm and friendly. The most trusted babysitter of all animals. She is a true darling.

Darshoo & Durga are sisters. They were found hanging by their necks in an abandoned building. Their howling alerted passerby workers, although when we found they they had almost lost all breath in them.

Personality :
She is a shy reserved girl. Although they are super calm and friendly, but their personality only comes trough to those closest to her. She is low maintenance and a very independent girl.

Story :
Devi was rescued after found on the verge of dying with her puppies lying about her all poisoned to death. She refused to leave her puppies behind. It was a heartbreaking rescue as we faked her kids were alived and carried the bodies along with her while being rescued. After leaving the vet, she struggled with depression before recovering slowly.

Personality :
She is an extremely calm girl. She is reserved. But if you become friends, she is the most loving baby around.

She looks like a tough cookie but she is a Scooby-doo inside. And just like Scooby, she is very friendly.

Story :
Jeniffer was rescued as a pregnant mom (her baby is Sharon). She was found with multiple nail gun wounds with the nail getting as far as into her bones. An excrutiangly painful rescue as we found it hard to touch her anywhere. This was a difficult rescue as we felt her pain every step of the way. Her baby was delivered unharm. Both Mom & baby (Sharon) are beautiful girls now.

Personality :
She is a very friendly girl. They are active and love running about. Always full of energy.

Story :
This girl was found with steel wire wrapped around her, cutting deep into her skin and bones. Beside her was her brother who we named Jack (Jack died during surgery). After multiple surgeries, Jill is now one healthy girl.

Personality :
She is super duper friendly. She is a natural born babysitter who loves taking care of all other kiddies around her. Made from 100% pure love.

This boy was beaten and left to death with severe spinal injury. When we got him, he couldn't walk and was under extreme pain. But you wouldn't guess that now, as this boy is one handsome looking fellow.

Handsome and loves to be the center of attention. Always the star and eager to please, this boy can sweep anyone off their feet especially women.

Kamala and Vimala are sisters. Their mother was beaten and stoned to death. These kids were 4 months old when rescued. They were also beaten. Being young as they were, it was a miracle both sisters survived the cruel ordeal they had been through.

Just like her sister, she is quiet yet friendly and playful girl. Very calm to be around, she is docile and eager to please. Both sisters are very adorable.

This little puppy was thrown into a fire pit. Rescued by a local feeder, when we got to her, she didn't seem to have any skin on her. Though she is a beautiful girl now.

She is an alpha female. Strong protective girl who is loyal and faithful to those close to her. She is an amazing companion to have around.

Personality :
The siblings (Kumaran, Valli and Vellan) are alpha dogs in the making. Loyal, faithful and disciplined. Easy to maintain and make for excellent faithful companions.

She is shy girl. Still a little wary of strangers. However, she opens up to those close to her with her very playful character.

Nikki was found caged in an abandoned house. She was thin beyond believe, we were scared to even carry her during rescue lest something snaps. She is now a gorgeous young lady.

Personality :
She is an alpha dog. Very protective of her family she is an excellent loyal companion. She also is a natural babysitter who is loving towards the younger ones. A genuinely angelic soul.

Story :
This girl was found beaten close to death. We were informed by the local feeder that her newborn puppies were purposefully poisoned and run over by car. She was both hurt physically and emotionally.

Personality :
She is friendly girl. She is also very quiet. She is a very disciplined girl and so easy to care for.

This girl was found tied to an old fence and left to wither. She was so weak that she couldn't even lift her head to drink water during rescue. We do not know how long she had been left there but some people nearby said it was more than two weeks.

Personality :
She is an adventurist. Always exploring new teriitories, its feels like the world is her playground. Cheerful and vocal, she is an active happy girl.

Story :
She was beaten by a group of local kids. This had been going on repeatedly everyday for more than a month before we received the complaint. She had nowhere to escape as the kids would hunt her down for play. She was badly damaged at the time of rescue. Its amazing her her faith in humanity has remained intact after all that she went through.

Personality :
She is sunshine to behold. Always a smile on her face, this girl is testament to the amazing capacity for love that dogs have.

Story :
This girl walked into a car workshop to take shelter from a heavy storm and was stomped on by the owner for dragging water in. She was thown in a drain and left to drown and die. It was a miracle she didnt as we were certain she would when we got there and took one look at her. She is paralyzed.

Personality :
She is a ray of sunshine. She is always smiling. Ever eager to run around and play though she cannot walk (paralyzed). She is still in pysical therapy. This girl is a testament to the stragth that dogs have and their unwaivering capacity for love. Rohini loves every soul she encounters. A pure gem.

AGE: 6yrs | Female

Story :
This girl was tortured by the owner. She was kept in acage too small, not given food, left out under the hot sun and heavy rain, and constantly beaten as well proded with sharp iron bar. She is white coated but when we got her we thought she was brown from all the dried mangled condition she was in. We were informed by the investigative authorities that the owner has diagnosed mental condition. She is of course as fresh as snow now.

Personality :
Quite the lady in demand by several boys at the shelter, this supermodel is bubbly and friendly, Ever eager to please, she is definately the star of the show.

This boy was tied into a gunny sack and thrown at our gates. What we thought was garbaged, until it moved, the boy was severely malnourished.

Personality :
He is one handsome lad. Independent, low maintanance and always out for adventure, he is active, playful and a joy to be around.

Story :
Shanmugi was rescued at a chemical factory with horrible skin. Vet's best guess was that she had some sort of corrosive material poured on her. Her's was a long and painful journey as her skin refused to heal. But she is now a beautiful young lady.

Personality :
She is an alpha female. Very independent and protective by nature, she is loyal to a fault and will defend those closest to her. A faithfull companion to have around.

This boy was rescued with fractured leg and multiple wounds on his body. Found dragging himself about in a neighborhood, he was unable to stand. Maybe thats why we named him 'snake'. He has recovered fully and is among the fastest babies at the shelter.

Personality :
We love to call him 'Snakooo'. An thletic handsome fella, this boy will win hearts. This boy loves to make friends.

This was our first 3 rescue before FKF even came into existence. She was rescued from a dumpsite.

Personality :
She is definately an alpha dog as no one dares cross this girl. She is the calmest dog we've ever encountered as nothing moves her nor freigtens her. She has the calmest spirit. She is exteremely particulat about cleanliness and is an exteremly disciplined girl. An absolutely stunning beauty.

This boy is natrural star. Extremely friendly, eager to make friends, eager to please with striking white coat and a handsome face. He is indeed a sight to behold.
